Lever Gun Lust Fest

BB..........I've got a few shotguns and a couple nice ones, a Ruger Red Label O/U 20 ga, an L.C. Smith SXS 28 ga with engraving and gold inlays of a woodcock, I think. I have an original Win 1901 lever 10 ga, a Beretta DU semi 12 ga that I have yet to figure out how to work. I'm a big fan of doubles so I have a few of them around, but shotguns just don't turn my crank like rifles do...........ya just can't wildcat 'em, or kill sh!t at 400 mtrs with them......

That's one mighty fine collection. Do you ever have trouble finding brass or bullets or anything for some of the more obscure calibers?

I just stick to the pretty common calibers for my lever guns. .44 magnum (3x) .45 Colt (2x) and .357 magnum (2x).

Fair enough
I grew up on pumps and have moved to double guns. Mostly sxs and that has spilled over into rifles as well. I've been squirreling away money for a sxs 450/400 3" nitro. It will still take me some time as I have other projects to do and my theory of just needing more torque has led to a complete Reno of my bathroom. Damn leaky tap

Unlike some people I know, I view shotguns as a functional tool for killing flying birds and shooting trap. Like I said I have a couple pretty ones but reality states that one really only needs two shotguns, one for upland and one for waterfowl and I have those two categories covered about 3 times over as well as an O/U for trap shooting. Beyond that I have a couple others but only maybe a dozen all told, of which likely half or better are SXS. I guess I do have the field covered though, I have everything from a SXS 410 and 28 ga to a semiauto 10 ga, so I'm good.

OP: Thanks for sharing! Very neat collection of levers, plus a look into your methods of madness. :p

I do like the new Miroku 94's. I don't have one - yet. One in TD 30-30 would suit me just fine.

My hat is off to you, acknowledging your perseverance and knowledge. :)
