Who here has bought/used power custom trigger packs and the match bolt and hold open? Just after more info on what people thought of them. Are they worth the money or should I be looking at kidd, volquartesn, timmy, tactical innovations? Thanks

Thanks guys! Tom E Gun your thread was pretty awesome, gave me some idea of what I might try. In all reality I would love a kidd two stage but they are so expensive a timmy or drop in parts might be my option in the end. Do you know if getting a empty alum. Trigger group is needed. The plastic stock rugger one just feels so cheap. Especially for what I paid for the rifle in the first place. Thanks

I love the look and feel of the Kidd machined aluminium trigger housings, but I think the plastic can work just as well. If you watch the videos on the Brimstone Gunsmithing site, he actually prefers working on the plastic trigger groups.

I have a custom built 10/22 with the PC trigger and their match bolt in a Volquartsen SS receiver. While the trigger is nice and crisp for a single stage, the BHO feature is not reliable. It's so frustrating to get it to work reliably I gave up on it. If I had to do it over, I'd just get a KIDD single or two-stage trigger and be done with it.

I think the timney is what I will go for in the end. They seem to be a good bang for buck ratio vs the nearly $500 it cost for a two stage kidd. Not to mention I have no experience with two stage triggers so I wouldn't know what to expect.

I got mine from Wolverine Supplies. I shopped around Canada and they had the best price I could find. Mine's black with a gold shoe, but if you don't like what they have in stock color wise they'll order anything you want!
