Hello,

I was playing with different methods of shining brass.

Wet tumbling, I used 2 cups water and added one tablespoon lime juice.

This is the result:

I hope this helps someone!

it looks nicer, and pride is one of the reasons we reload :)

I would say its easier to find defects in the brass if its really clean. cracks and other things will stand out like sore thumbs

I use Lemishine. Works just as good and cheaper than lime juice. Smells nice and citrus - y too :)
Available at your local CND Tire.

Are you sure it's cheaper? Probably not much.
How many ml. do you use?

The Delphi lemon juice I have is about $1.50 for 675 ml.
vs lemishine at CT $ 4.50 for 350 ml.
So for $4.50 you can get 2025 ml lemon juice, about 5.8 times as much.

In terms of cost; 1 tablespoon/15ml lemon juice equals about 2.6 ml lemishine.

WTF....is this a cooking class?

10lbs of citric acid shipped on amazon.ca is $47. Lifetime supply in most cases.
It drops down to $43 shipped every so often.

Lots of wet tumbling threads here.

you only need less than a pinch of lemishine each time. so by your own math, the juice is more expensive already which is just common sense. Is there ever any natural product is cheaper than the same thing that is purely chemical?
I got my bottle of leminshine more than 2 years ago, now only used it less than 1/4. I shoot and load about 10K a year.
