Non-restricted DA50s are here!

Is there a case out there that will fit the rifle without disassembly?

Cheers
Jay

Got a 62" drag bag from ATRS, now wishing I had gone with their 55" shooting matt/drag bag and thankful I have a 30" barrel on my 50. The hard cases I find do damage to the interior of my car.

Cool. I'll have to do some measurements but it might be able to fit into my container. If so, I'll put it on my DA50

Mine came in today. 32"

Looks very solid and robust. The upper is very very heavy, I wonder if the Tiptop bipod from CanadaAmmo is strong enough to hold it steady? Anyone out there with that set up please chime in.

Noted it no longer has the fluted barrel as the last batch of uppers, and no pic rail at the 3 / 9 o'clock. But it's not a deal killer for me, I actually prefer the round barrel look. Mine came in with a little bit of disappointment though, probably due to handling or packaging (see last photo), but overall I'm very excited about this affordable Non-Restricted .50 platform. At this kind of price, I think everyone should grab one and take your friends out for a blast! If money is an issue, it's definitely worth it to plan ahead and save some money over time. Thanks for bring these to the market Canada Ammo!

Funny that the guys who made the NR lower don't get any thanks?

The only disappointment was there were some dents and scratches noted, looked like someone have dropped a piece of metal on it. The barrel seems fine, so mostly likely just a cosmetic damage. Not really a deal breaker, but it kind of stand out from everything else, like if you were dating the hottest chick from you school and you just can't get over with that weired perfume she's wearing.

Seriously , not normal to ship a rifle like that. I hope they will compensate you. I suggest you fill a complaint.
