While yes we do have stupid rules and a 13% HST rate in Ontario, we don't pay $80 per k of primers...

ya, they do seem to be falling off the radar again, both cci and federal.... but I'm still seeing stock of the fed match sp primers locally at around the $50/1000 mark

glad I stocked up a couple of weeks ago :)

I noticed stores are dropping powder, primer prices. We have some new competition in town....and prices are good, even for firearms

FYI.......Dozens of guns of all types...30.40,50% off.I bought a tikka in a caliber I had a box of ammo for....for 549.95.There is a Steyr in 300win mag for 949.95,blued of course....not to sure what to do!!

He's just trying to break even...when he bought them he had to pay tax and drive to and from the store to get them...gas isn't cheap. :)

I'd pay more than that to be here. :)

No kidding!:p

Not having those silly Eastern rules, and being able to hunt species such as bighorn and pronghorn as a resident, and not having to deal with extreme hunting pressure would be well worth it. That being said, I would not be paying that for primers.

If I were to buy primers from lgs's within 100 miles from me I would be paying what the op posted.
I've seen prices from $74.00 to $90.00 per thousand, plus 12% taxes...
Personally I don't pay that as I order in bulk but shopping local here can sometimes come with a surprise.

Never paid more than $4.49 per 100

plus I have my last order for $24.99 per 1000

The guy is on crack, or the primers are gold plated
