Haven't seen yer report, well just watched the two Stags go down and then noticed a Roo bounding away after the second shot
Great shooting and entertaining as always.
Was that Roo a Big Red ?
What about the Bush fires how far is all that from you WL?

Good shooting! That's a unique way of cleaning a deer. Do you just skin them and remove the meat from the bone without having to eviscerate then just pack out the meat?

Spank, just unzip the back along the spine, then take the 'tenderloins? I think, we call them backstraps- I was camping near by so just needed something to chew on, that's common way to do that an then take off the rear legs.
because our rules differ, this is how most animals are used.. you guys are proberly cringing ! still borderline pests here.

Nah flutchi no fires here all been up North somewhere I think? I'm not 100% on the wherebouts actually.

That doesn't bother me any. I know they are pests just like anything else that's feral or an invasive species. Grab some backstraps and a couple rear quarters and head back to camp sounds like the makings of some fine dining.

It was not a BIG RED, but a Eastern GREY! you will find the Big Reds more out in the Centre, away from the coasts and quite inland where the Dirt starts to go Red an the country really Flattens out!

Right around the South East an up to the North east the common Roo is the Eastern Grey!
