Standard black, duplex reticle in very good condition. wondering what kind of value it would have in a trade?

Google says they run $399 and higher (American), might be able to pick one up from a friend for a decent deal although I don't need yet another scope, but would likely trade for a .223 bolt action or something restricted.

Thanks for looking,

Gary.

It'll sell in minutes at $500 on the EE, if it's in great shape.

Now I'm a lover of all things Fudd, but I'm not sure about $500. Standard Duplex (not B&C which would add a few bucks), 40mm (not 50mm which attracts more attention from the "every last second of light" guys), VX3 (not VX3i so one generation old) and Gloss (not matte which seems to be more in demand these days). Now would I buy such a scope? Absolutely, without hesitation. To help out with the value I would send it off to Korth for a checkup (I like to know the scope is healthy before I buy despite the warranty - nice to see it's been gone through before). I think that $500 would be a good starting place to list that scope right now, but I would expect to hold it a while if the price is firm and if you drop to $400-$450 it should sell reasonably quickly.

He ended up selling to someone else for just over $400, plus the shipping/insurance etc. Probably would have been a nice to have, but I've already got one on my hunting rig, and it's hard to justify putting one on a rifle for my 15 year old to hunt with!

Thanks for the info guys.

G.

Then VX3 prices have dropped more than I thought. Good! I haven't seen one thing about the 3i that makes it in any way better. :)
