I see my Canik TP9 SF is not allowed. Why is this? Also, is itnstill allowed for the black badge course just not allowed in competition?

Doesn't matter why, but it probably doesn't meet the production gun criteria in the rule book.... And yes, you should he totally fine to use this gun for your black badge as long as it is safe.

Not everybody shoots production so it's not like you must have a production gun to do the black badge

There is also such a thing as 'Standard Division' and 'Open Division'. You are free to shoot your Canik in either 'Standard' or 'Open'. You are also free to use it during the Black Badge course.

The TP9SF is declared as SAO, but as it's a striker-fired model, we can consider it. However, the TP9SFx has a barrel length in excess of the maximum permitted, so we cannot approve it.

It seems that the TP9SF V2 is the only model we can approve, but Canik did not advise us of the revised model number. When we initially approved the TP9SF, there was no V2 suffix.

So, it's slated for approval this year (2017).
