Ruger Canadian search and rescue rifle....?

Perhaps it's been talked about on here, but I have never seen a thread on it so forgive me if it has. Does anybody have any more info on these? I assume this was their submission for the ranger rifle bid? I see info on the steyr, cz, and tikka but not much about this Ruger

very limited run made only for Canadian search and rescue technicians and never offered to the public.

It's essentially a Ruger scout, minus flash hider with a composite folding stock (gross orange), and chambered in .30-06 I think.....

If they ever became available to the public, I would grab one immediately and just as quickly refinish that stock... would be a great carry/kick around rifle.

I would like one of the ones they made for the rcmp..... same specs, but with black synthetic stocks and chambered in .22-250
