Holy Grail

I don't know if I have a 'Holy Grail' gun (at least since I finally got a bright stainless Python)....but if I could ever find a really mint Colt Series 70 Gold Cup National Match with box and papers (kind of like the one I passed up on a few years back on the EE and been kicking myself ever since).....I'd probably trade one of my Pythons for it. With maybe a little cash my way....!

Got a .50 Desert Eagle. Got a Coonan Classic. Got a Benelli M-4. I want a Franchi SPAS-12, but i live in Canada :-(. That's my unicorn.

Cannon

Mine arrived today - an "As New", apparently unfired S&W nickel plated M19-4 (pinned/recessed) snubby c/w grey original box, papers, etc.

I don't think I even want to fire it - for now. It needs a set of pearl or ivory grips and a glossy Tyler T-grip to set it off.

Prettiest gun I've ever owned, the classic General Patton "New Orleans Pimp Gun"!

Damn - I sound like one of the Python boys with their unfired flossy snakes, investments and not real guns. I don't know how long I'll have it as a unique paperweight.

It's ok. Some of us Python fan boys have lots of Smiths that we shoot, as though they were real guns. Like that 19-4. Or 17-2. or 27-2, 29-2, 66-nickel, 686 no dash with that big ass 8 3/8" barrel, and a few more that I lost track of. Not to mention that .41 Magnum 57-2. But I digress......some of us fan boys have Pythons that we shoot too. And King Cobras. And Anacondas. Just like real guns.

Been jonesing for a Webley Fosberry automatic for many, many years. Just ran across one at a site sponsor and the darned thing was well above my pay grade.
And another one I've been on the fence about is a SIG p210.
If I had the scratch, I would go for the Webley first, then the SIG.

LOL .... ;>) I understand the Python mystique. Had one back in the 60s when I was stationed at CFB Churchill. That gun and I spent many happy hours on the tundra plinking at ice floes and other targets of opportunity.
Sold it to the late Alan Lever to buy my first parachute when I got into free falling. Always regretted parting with that gun, but it opened the door to a lot of exciting times.

Never gonna happen but I would give up two of my pistols and an AR for a S&W snub nose .38 spl. I've been lucky enough to shoot a couple and it was pure bliss. I guess growing up as a kid in the '70s and watching Ephram Zimbalist Jr. pretty much tattooed this revolver in my psyche.

I knowhatchamean .....

I always hankered for a S&W RB S&W M19 but anyone who had one was hanging on to it. Then for some reason they started to appear on the EE with regularity. Now I've got four of the little beauties: a M66, two blued M19s and a nickel plated M19.

They have become my favourite guns for IDPA due to their compact size, concealability, rivalling my .45 ACP Remington SS CMD. It's a toss up as to which I enjoy shooting more. If I could carry, I'd alternate between the two depending on what I was wearing.

Jealous just doesn't describe it... Lucky you!

Colt SAA in 45 colt or a simple S&W stealth hunter 44 magnum I think they are both beautiful guns
