New A5 or Maxus ???

They are both quality guns..... and you can never go wrong with A browning if they fit you...... but the Maxus is truly a thing of beauty.... and the provided shims pretty much ensure a good fit......

Go with the Browning....

In all seriousness, go with the one you feel more comfortable shooting. If you have a preferance to gas autoloaders, the Maxus is the way to go. I personally preferred the Silver over the A5 and the Maxus

I have both the a5 and maxus. I have owned the a400, SBE, SX3 and just about everything. I waterfowl hunt 3+ days a week. That being said the new A5 is the only semi that I've ever bought and plan to keep. The maxus is a fantastic gun and people will inevitably throw the gas vs inertia debate at you. In my opinion inertia guns run way cleaner and aren't as punishing as people make them out to be. The a5 (for me) is the best pointing shotgun I've ever used. Yeah I think it's ugly. But it absolutely smashes birds. They both can be fitted to you but the a5 gives the longer sighting plane and has one hell of a great swing to it.

Whoa!!....don't go adding to the confusion by throwing out a 3rd option now....lol

I own both and I got to say its a hard decision . do what I did by both and sell the one you don't like . oh yeah :dancingbanana: still seem to still have both in the safe .

My vote goes to Maxus

I remember the Maxus to be slower to swing on target but it swings through nicer than the A5. I like the a5 for "jump" shooting. I guess for me depending on fit I would go for the Maxus if waterfowling, a5 for everything else. Snap shooting rabbits with an a5 is a hoot.
