Beretta 92S refinishing project - input wanted

Nope! Personally I would not change a thing. Any gun with holster wear looks and often behaves like a pair of old shoes. I wouldn't mind picking up one of those guns but alas I have two other projects on the go and a desire to pick up a optic covered 320 when they come out this summer. The 92S though is a great looking gun.

Glad I'm not the only nut. I've got my eye on those 92s but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger for some reason. I'm more a wheelgun guy

I just traded a CZ 85 Combat that had not seen sunlight since I bought it for a 92A1. I now have two plus a Girsan Centurian. ENOUGH! The Berettas are as bad as CZ's. You just can't pass one up. No more, well unless someone has a Brigadier they want to sell........

I would love to pick up one of those surplus 92's but I would be tempted to leave the worn finish as is just for the history. You cant replace that. However, Socom blue or Midnight blue Cerakote will give a nice blue/black type finish and the sandblasting process will unfortunately remove some of the character scuffs, but not the deeper dings. It's all a matter of taste I guess.
