I ran out of "UP" adjustment on my red dot - what now?

Gun: Sig P226 Elite
Mount: Cadex (goes into rear sight dovetail)
Red dot: Burris Fastfire 3

Testing it at 30ft, using standard 50ft pistol slow fire targets, aiming the dot at bullseye puts rounds at very bottom of the paper. Aiming at the top of the paper puts bullets in bullseye area.

I've already maxed out the UP screw but it's still shooting about 6" low.

Should I try a new mount? (they're not cheap!) Does anyone know of a shim that is available in Canada?

I think something like this might work... 2 washers on the rear pegs of the mount to lift it's butt-end up a bit (and thus point the dot down).

Get the Shims. Check out the UMTactical site. I bought a "DELRIN SHIM 1.0 DEGREE FOR VORTEX VENOM & VIPER, BURRIS FASTFIRE II, III, DOCTERS AND SIGHTMARK OPTICS" $9.95USD free shipping. On its way over here right now.

Bought it.

I was looking at the 1.5 degree shim by UMTactical but on another site. It was $9.95US too, but then that site wanted $35US for shipping! Would have been 60 bucks Cdn!

Thanks! Hopefully the 1 degree slope is enough to get my points of impact up to where the red dot is.
