Question folks. I just picked up a Winchester Model 1894 Sporting Rifle in 30 WCF that was manufactured in 1900. It appears all original to me (with potential exception of front sight). Screws look relatively untouched. Sights have been removed at one time. The front sight is on backwards and the rear sight has been moved (marks indicating it in the sight). The rear sight is correct vintage for the rifle, but is off a 32 WCF as it has Winchester markings indicating such. There are some marks on the wood and the receiver has scratches on it. Bluing is well worn on receiver. Barrel and full length mag tube have bluing that I would rate as 60-70%. Rifling is beautiful with no pitting. Can anyone throw an approximate value out there for me?
