My latest Acquisition is this surplus Italian police Beretta 92s, it is in very good condition for a surplus pistol, looks like it only faced light use.

Bought this from Bullseye London, they handled everything quickly and professionally, I would recommend using them, they offer free shipping on items $200+ before taxes.

EDIT: This was $528, but I bought it on boxing day, with a discount so it really coasted me $499.

Nice, love the look of the 92, how do you find the mag release at the bottom, easy to get used to? I have thought about one of these surplus 92's a few times, most seem to be in really nice shape

just remember to watch the locking block or at least acquire a spare- you have no idea how many rounds through and I've hade a couple of those fail in competition- and since then I've acquired ab f model which has the mag release in the more civilised position
the other thing I would do is replace the safety- mine had a tendency to fall "on" after a couple of mags and this was back in the day when we ran 15 rounders

I just target shoot right now, so I like the mag release at the bottom, because I can press it and remove the mag with one hand.

easy as you just have to look for the bite out of the heel on the left.right side- all my mags save 2 are hermaphroditic

if you have one of the other style without the heel hole( funny) you can remove the floorplate, spring and follower and drill an appropriate sise hole in the mag wall- it won't be pretty, and sure and back the mag wall with a piece of wood so you don't bend it
