Red Dot MOA comparison

I think a good little red dot is the new iron sights and can be quite effective at range. I'm near sighted but still need glasses to focus no small front sights (on rifles) and dots stand out nice and sharp. I've tried magnifiers but that doesn't work as well as some think, and you might as well have a scope. Fixed scopes or Prism scopes with illumination at 3x are nice but many have either crap reticles or really bad eye relief.

A 2 MOA dot keeps it simple, crisp and light. I think PA reticles are slick, I'm tempted to get holosun with their reticle or one of the fixed prismatic sights. Cost considered there a little pricey up here, and I'm tired of buying disappointing optics because I couldn't see them in hand before buying.

@OP was this for a rifle or pistol, I've been looking at low profile 4 to 6 moa dots for pistols.

Agreed.
My PA red dot has a 2 MOA dot and it seems just about perfect for my needs.
