Looking at an old Mossberg 535 with the factory...plastic like camo on it. It badly worn (the camo finish) and would like to remove it. Anyone have a "how to" on how to do it. I was thing ...maybe , strip it and put barrel and reciver etc..in a pail of actone. I know the stock can't go that way (there plastic). So any advise?
Cheers

It not that it's ripped off, just faded out lot , around the wrist area and pump, looks "white-ish" washed out ... Dirty.... It's one thats I'm looking at , that for sale, so was wanting to know if it fixable before buying .

To completely remove it would be difficult, I would think. You could hydra dip it, or Krylon spray job. Theres lots around, pass on it unless its super cheap.

$200 is a pretty sharp deal, especially with multiple barrels. I have nice shotguns, but its what gets used mostly, especially in inclement weather. Love that shotgun.
