OK so Accraglass and Acragel are pretty much unobtanium, so I walked into Acklands and said I want to buy some Devcon.............Where upon the man pulled out his catalogue and showed me about 100 Devcon products and said "Which one?" To which I had no idea what to say............So gentlemen of exceptional experience, do tell..........which Devcon product does one buy with which to do an acceptable job of bedding firearms?

I really like and use Devcon Titanium Putty. Expensive but it doesn't shrink and dries very hard.
There is a fellow on Vancouver Island that sells Brownelle's Acraglas products. He had a lot of kits in Chilliwack last weekend.
I believe it's named Dewdney Mountain Products.

Acklands is a pain to deal with if you don't have an account with them. $75-85 is the going Canadian rate for a tub of Devcon. Vallen.ca is also a good source.

I would not even look at Acklands for anything unless you can buy under a company's pre-existing commercial account. The prices listed is often hugely inflated to keep you or I from ever coming in and buying single pieces. I once worked for a company with an account there, and I ordered a couple of tools, the quoted prices were as much as 40% less.

Century Vallen was the best price locally. Rusty Woods had Accra-glass awhile ago when I needed to do a little remedial work on a rifle that was already done with it.
Once you make the change to 10110 and floor wax you'll wonder why you ever put up with Accra glass and blue goop.
