Just purchased my first 9mm pistol, a CZ 75B.:) I have been looking at the reviews on Youtube & they get good marks for reliability, ergonomics & being very popular around the globe. Guys that I talk to around here seem to like them too, especially the older folks.
Now the wait begins.....
Would you guys that have them, or anyone else like to comment? Thanks!

I have one Pre-B and one CZ75B. The ergos are definitely very hard to beat on these guns. Their track record is nothing short of outstanding. Accuracy is usually better than most people are capable of. Mine love 147 grain bullets. Enjoy yours!!

I just got a Shadow SP-01 and I'm loving it so far! Same handling/accuracy as my 1911 with the DA/SA trigger of the Sig but with less "mushiness" in single action. You really can't go wrong with a CZ!

BTW, it seems redundant to have a smiley face for threads in the pistol forum. I don't think I've ever seen anyone shooting a pistol at the range who DIDN'T have a big smile on their face.

I have owned a number cZs since the 80s and have never had a problem that was not attributable to the shooter. Still my favourite pistol.

Had a tactical sp01 and still have my stainless 75B nice gun. No one tell you this but they're picky with reloads when it comes to over all length.

Had a pre b...was a great pistol...I'm a fan of Cz firearms..they just seem to fit the hand right...enjoy..

Thanks for the comments so far! I have much to learn about the 9mm & the CZ, but I'm lookin forward to fondling & giving it a test run.
Another question while I'm here, do any of you know where to get those recoil/slide buffers? I use them on the 45's with no issues so I thought it might work in this gun. Thanks again, & keep it coming....

Good gun for serious shooting and lots of it. Trigger is ok but could use a little work on 75Bs. Beats hell out any plastic pistol.

I disagree. I learned to shoot with a 75B, but ended up selling it recently because I couldn't get the groupings I wanted. I bought a "Plastic" Walther PPQ M1 Navy and I have never shot tighter groups. Congrats OP on your first pistol.

I am not a fan of recoil buffers and still not convinced of it's supposed purpose. If you have a plastic guide rod, no need. With a steel guide rod, get one as you wish. No harm adding this recoil buffer. Dlask use to sell them. So as Select Shooting Supplies and FOC. Check with our friendly dealers, they should be able to order for you if this item is currently out.

Agreed,

The walther ppq and p99 are extremely accurate.

Love my CZ 75B New Edition. Full steel gun and low mounted slide handle recoil better than most hybrid "plastic" guns I've tried.
Very accurate and just keeps on shooting. Hasn't jammed on me yet!

Not much to dislike. One might shoot another gun better but I doubt there are any standard production guns out there that will out shoot a CZ 75/SP-01 series pistol off a rest. To the OP put a 13# mainspring in the gun and your trigger pull will improve significantly. I have never experienced light strikes using a 13# mainspring either.

Take Care

Bob

i love my 75b, i upgraded the grips to fit my big mits better, and now its got a permanent home in the safe, i constantly buy and sell the plastic ones, just cant find one that fits my hands as nice as the CZ, next step, is to move up the cz line a bit higher !
