TT33 and family productions?

Been searching the Internet. Looking for production quantities by years and which factories made em but information seems to be very scares. Can anyone chime in on sources I can find such info. Thanks

I'm not sure if total production has been published (I'll have to check my books). It's somewhere in the archives though.

Total Russian production is around 2 million.
 
Do we know the division per factory? From the sounds of it they most of the Russian factories made alot. Not including All the Warsaw pact productions like Radom, FEG, Cugir.
 
There is no way of knowing production runs of TT33 pistols. During ww2 factories moved and changed their codes and locations. Many records lost or were not kept at all due to wartime demands for quick production. That's why to this day the preferred weapon of political or public assassins in Russia or Ukraine is ww2 made TT33. Its virtually untraceable and as of today 23/03/2017 TT was used in assassination of ex duma candidate Denis Voronkov in Kiev.
 
So from a collectors stand point. Is there a rarer batch or is it just the TT30s. Most American forums talk about the old soviets being hard to get but here its not the case

In general in Canada no one cares about them at all. There are a few people like me who will pay good money for original matching / vet bring back TTs but most collectors show disinterest.
 
I think one of the serious collectors of tt in Canada recently gave up, so I doubt we will see nice write up on tt history any time soon. Very sad.
BTW, there was so much fuzz about unspoken vendor tt30s and no pictures posted. Disappointed.

I should have taken photos of mine!

I had to return it. Turns out the magazine release and spring were replaced with random non-standard parts... like makeshift gunsmith from Africa parts haha
