Does the 870 mcs with 10 inch barrel and pistol grip available in Canada? Is there a kit with different barrel length and stock?
 
There is a member here with the whole kit - I believe that with possession of the shorter barrels the whole thing becomes restricted, due to the quick change pistol grip and short OAL. I haven't seen a shorty MCS at a dealer, or a full kit at a dealer.
 
the one thing I don't like about the MCS kit is the yoke is moved forward on ALL THREE barrels.

I get why of course, but it kills the possibility of using barrels from other than the kit. That, combined with the restricted status really just makes it a cool collectors thing.

Not for me but might be for someone else.

I have never seen one for sale in Canada, even in the US it's hard to find.

First thing to do is ask your local dealer if he can get you one with the short 10" barrel.

If he can't , you will have to buy it yourself in the US and have it imported by an importer (it's a very long wait for the paperwork on the US side for these kind of firearm)

Just to give you an idea, there's a 10" version for sale on Gunbroker at $1275.00 US.

The whole system ( with the 3 barrels kit) is $2350.00 US.

Yes it's very expensive for a range toy only .

Most of the parts can be sourced in Canada except the quick detach stock kit, somebody in Canada should made them, you are going to sell a bunch of them. We don't have SBR problem like US so 10 inch barrel is easily acquired.

I have a Dlask 870 barrel and they are so thick compared to a regular 870 barrel, doesn't look like one on the picture.

If youre looking for a Pachmayr grip for your 870 check Irunguns US site they have them.

Dlask will make any barrel you want. I built an 8.5 on a wingmaster frame that I had Casey shorten and re thread the mag tube. Dlask made me an 8.5 barrel and a 14" barrel to fit the 8.5 frame. I don't think I had 1k$ into the whole setup. It was a nice range toy, but if I was to do it again I wouldn't bother with the 14" barrel, or I would make it just a little longer so a plus 2 extension wouldn't stick out the end. In the end the charm wore off, and although they do look nasty, they aren't anything special. I've heard that the interchangeable stocks on the mcs guns aren't that great, and they get wiggly after a while
 
i also had Dlask shorten my 15inch dominion mag fed down to 8.5. shortened the action bars to fit the MSC handguard. after way too much money into making a 8.5 mag fed, Canada Ammo sold them to everyone only 6 months later.

There's a couple for sale on the E&E right now.
 
I used to want one, but I'd go with a STF-12 over anything Remington makes now.
