Serbu Super Shorty in Canada?

I've had a desire for the better part of the last 10 years to get one of these. The folding foregrip looks great. It would be a rather expensive range toy as they go for about $1K USD, so the cost of one would approach the $2K mark with the exchange rate, import paperwork & fees, shipping etc. etc.

My question is if anyone has seen of these SBS beauties in person, here in Canada

Could you possibly make your own with a Dlask 8.5" and pistol grip?

Is it the folding forend grip you're after? Other than that part yo should be able to build one yourself.

I have never seen one in Canada and if you want one you have to buy it yourself in the US from a class 3 dealer and have it imported by Irunguns, it's a very long wait for the paperwork on the US side ( up to a year wait) and yes it's very expensive for a range toy.

any machine shop should be able to fabricate the fore grip. buying a shorty shotgun in Canada and modifying it would be the way to go .
