Hey! Interested to know where people are getting amazing deals on primers! The best I've found so far is tenda at $35-$39 per thousand.

3 1/2 to 4 cents a piece is not bad. . Where is this Tenda place?

Ontario.

Best i've seen is dominion primers from canada ammo even with the price going up on them. Order it by the case and get free shipping and a bit of a discount. I've gone through 15k or so and they work great for plinking loads.

I was thinking about a brick of Berdan primer's for the same reason

Any idea what the dominion primers compare to in terms or how easy they are to ignite? Eg. Using them with light action pistols

Dominion works in all my handguns never had misfires ever

me too.

They aren't match grade though. I did some casual testing in my .357 lever gun of the same rounds made with Dominion vs CCI BR2 and it may have been me just trying more with the CCI rounds but the groups were notably smaller. The same test with my revolver at 10 yds, there was no difference at all.

on par with winchester primer hardness. I get light strikes with the 586 but they go off with a second hit. I should be using federals with the 586 but it doesn't really bother me. everything else it works great in.

They are a little cooler, which is good for extruded but not so good for ball.
I run them in 222 with a full case of varget, 55gr pill and it's the most accurate 100m load I have ever developed.

Just looked at tenda, good deal on cci 500 primers and even better deal on cfe pistol but its out of stock. They want $25 to ship the primers so that takes away from the good deal. I'll wait and see what deals are to be had for powder and primers during easter.
