Will it dethrone the Sig P210?!?

Nah, sorry RC Fan. This one was pure luck as it wasn't listed anywhere. Someone who's giving the sport up and selling his guns told me he had this one in new condition and was considering selling. Got it with 2 extra X5 mags for a price I couldn't refuse.

Good on you! Enjoy! Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I saw a like new one at our LGS last week. Almost identical to yours, clean lines no gawdy embellishments etc. Looks to be unfired, but it has and extremely well taken care of is my bet. Price is very appealing at ~$2800 I think? If I was looking for one I would be all over it but alas I have to shoot the ones I presently own first.
Cheers

I believe the German X5's / X6's have "dethroned" the P210's long ago.....

I want to love P210's....badly.....but after spending a few weeks with one, just can't. Always shoot the X5's better than the P210.

Well, just came back from the range. Had a couple hours to spare and brought the two with me for a little shootout... Wanna know who took the crown? All bets are open...

I love my X5 but a better question would be whether the new 2017 American made P210 Target (5") or the P210 Super Target (6") will beat the old P210.

The purists won't agree, but the US made P210 Super Target I had the excellent fortune of shooting at SIG Range Day seemed just as accurate as the German P210 I have shot on numerous occasions.

Does that mean you have one you want to part with? Seems crazy hanging on to a sub par pistol...cash waiting...lol

I'm curious...did it appear to be as finely crafted? Were the tolerances as tight?

I am not a P210 expert. I have shot a German P210 on 3 or 4 occasions. I field stripped and cleaned that gun after shooting it. Admittedly I spent a relatively short time with the US P210 Super Target, but it felt identical to me.

Harry Callahan. if am not mistaken it was your first range visit with both your new 210-6 and X5. As you are more accustomed to 210's my bet is on it for best results on this first outing.

Now I'm jealous. I would have the super target on my list to get this year if I wasn't still holding out for a legion 229 and 320 X-Five.

I will be posting the comparo very soon. In the meantime, bets are still open...

I think we need a little more context here. Were you shooting those guns off a machine rest at 50 yards or offhand at 5 yards?
