Savage .22 LR FV- SR dress up complete!

I think that turned out beautifully! Would like to see your WIP photos posted here too. I've had a weed growing about dropping a 10/22 into a Pulse Rifle airsoft from Aliens.

Thanks! I can do that for my next project now that I more or less know what I'm doing and worked out my kinks! Like I said filling all the empty voids with expanding foam is key. Once dry you can carve out the stock to fit your 10/22..once everything is sitting where you want it you need to coat the inside with JB weld. Next you drill the holes you need to firmly hold the steel parts to the stock and you are done! ( painting and sanding of course is next). Good luck Davidson!

Well I took it to the range a week ago and I could not get it to come OFF safe. I think I need to trim more JB weld away from the trigger housing? Other than that it cycled well! Just couldn't pop off a round. I'll head back to shop, tweak it, and try it again when all this snow is gone.

Awe didn't check that before hitting gun range?

Also, I just noticed how ridiculously high the rings are lol.

I did!! Worked fine on the bench and got the range and couldn't get it to budge..I'm putting it back into the factory stock for now and going work out some kinks to try and get it up and running in this new one. I have lower rings but I kept the original ones on for the photo.

Very nice, I hope you work out the problem with the safety and it turns out to be a great shooter. I have to be honest, the color don't do it for me, did you think about tan, but then, it is your rifle, not mine, so I hope you get her to your expectations. Good job.

I would almost be tempted to try this with a set of acis skins. They seem to come up on the EE often enough. I looked up that l96 and it was retailing for 200 on one site
