Can't classify a pistol lower with no stock as a rifle. Will be a handgun always regardless if stock installed or not.

Maybe this works along the same lines as an AR, of maybe they were thinking of American laws instead of Canadian laws. But thanks for the quote anyway. Have a link?

Agree with Wolverine 303. Thanks for putting in the time and effort to bring these in! Love my Sig 320. Wish the RX was compatible with Deltapoints as I already have one... But I'm hoping for a 10mm in the future and have been ogling one of the 220's.

Wrote a post saying much the same thing and thanking you for your efforts when you closed that other thread that, ahem, went a little off track so my comments never got posted FWIW, your efforts to bring new and interesting products to market are appreciated given the nightmare of hoops you have to jump through!

Dropping the ball on 10 round magazine is deal killer for me. Unless MDC can convince the manufacturer to produce a pistol magazine I am out.

I was very fortunate to shoot an MPX this past January. I thought it was awesome, so I want one regardless of whether the mags are pinned to 5 or 10.

The Criminal Code states that a prohibited firearm is:

a handgunwith a barrel length of 105 mm (4.1 inches) or less;

rifles are not handguns.

AR's have both pistol and rifle mages also. dont see why this cannot.

Classy. You don't want to buy from MDC, great. You have a respectful point to make - great. Posting crap like this is like tagging a physical store with graffiti with the name of a competitor.

They submitted it to the CFC, got the FRT, and did the official import and have put the time and training into getting armorers trained. I'm seeing less than a 10% difference in price on most things when I compare. it's up to the individual to decide if it's worth it.

When I was building my 9mm AR, tech told me the shortest I could go with barrel is same as pistols or revolver which would be no shorter than 4", so greater...
There were/are no barrels of that length so I went 4.5"
That's what I was told. Couldn't find an actual rule so I called in to my trusted lab tech person.


Re MPX....did some diggin' anyways and I'm interested in the MPX-K which is their compact pistol which has a barrel length of 4.5"....hoping these will be available as well.
The 5 round mag is a bit of a deal killer...I think I'll keep waiting anyways.
