What's a Sako L61R heavy barrel worth?

I found a Sako L61R heavy barrel in 25-06 Rem. What is a rough value on these? It's in good used/hunted condition.

I paid $800 for a 30-06 L61R, not a heavy barrel though. It was in good condition but needed a refinish on the stock. In the EE nice ones are $1200-$1400 asking price. Hope that gives you a starting place.

Pics really help with this sort of question. Your idea of "good used/hunted" condition and mine might vary WILDLY! Some of the guns I see out here that are touted as being in very good condition make me want to get the seller' swell water tested to make sure they don't have some brain-eating parasite!

Yes. People should learn and understand the NRA grading system. Riflechair did a good YouTube video on it.
