My new NZ-85

Just picked this baby up last week from CanAm. Added Pachmayer grips and Mepro night sights, both required a lot of fitting. The Norc mags suck so I have 3 Mec-Gar mags ordered from Brownells. It pretty accurate considering it's a Norc with no major mods.

Right on. The only Norc I have had that was a total disappointment was the FEG clone. Have and have had 1911s and the Sig 226 clone. No complaints there.

Would entertain getting the short slide CZ75 clone should one ever appear again.

I have two Norc 1911's, 45 and 9mm both work great and a first gen NP22 Sig clone, that pistol is awesome for the price I paid, $300 it is one of the most accurate pistols I have and I own a Glock22, M&P9 and Colt 1991

I also like my 2 norc .45's & may have to get one like yours! Hard to beat a good shooter for that money. Can I ask where you got your sights & grips?

Got the grips from Amazon and the sights from Phoenix gun range here in Edmonton.

I think the .40S&W version is designated NP-40.

Undergiver, it would be nice to hear your thoughts comparing NP 22 and NZ85 (grip, feel, accuracy..). I was torn between both models. Then a good offer for a np 22 jumped off EE and i could not resist...

The accuracy is comparable. The NZ is all steel pistol, but has lousy sights, it's hard to rack the slide back on unless you #### the hammer. If I had to pick one over the other, I would choose the NP-22

yes, only thing I change was the grips, I installed Hogue rubber grips.

Mine as well. Got the hogues before the firearm arrived . Just ordered from ebay.ca (canadian seller) a set of sig Wolff performance pack springs. It was a good deal for 25 cdn

I was a big fan of my np-22....really couldn't fault it...was well built and ran flawlessly...gritty da trigger, but the single action was really very good....my np-40 was very much the same...a little heavy and slightly unbalanced but solid construction and again trigger before polishing was perfectly acceptable..found the thumb safety a little stiff and small to use......it did however come with a couple of razor sharp edges...I was forced to de burr for safety reasons...I have no regrets in owning either....I just decided in the end to have the read deal...of the 2 ...no-22 was my fave...
