Any interest in Cz858 / Vz58 M-Lok Forends?

extended is good, but not metal. after a couple of full mags, the gun gets very hot to hold, and then leave it in the sun till you run the next stage and it is more so uncomfortable. i am dropping my NEA handguard for a Magpul one for that very reason.

and upper needs to be metal, but a lower in a very robust polymer is better.

Not to detract from this.. but everyone knows they can mod a zhukov to fit a vz easily right? And it's mlok..

An aluminum offering for those without tools etc would be a welcome addition though, hope you guys pull it off.

Yes, everyone knows that. But I would prefer a handguard that is made for the vz58, instead of modifying my rifle or the handguard for it to work. And made in Canada is a good selling point for me.

Just a quick update....

We've been working hard to come up with an extended forend for the Vz58. Here's our current prototype design:

We expect to have a 3d printout fitted in a day or two and hopefully an aluminium prototype soon!

Does this hand guard sit high enough that it covers the barrel? This is a much better looking fore end then before. How will the hand guard attach to the rifle? obviously you have the rear pin, but will the front attach by a barrel clamp?

The side m-lok is parallel to the barrel, so yes, it covers it. We will have some pics soon of a mockup on the a rifle.

lighten it up more, it has no purpose other than shielding your hand or mounting accessories. lights and grips dont need too much for strength.it is supported on both ends, so it doesnt need to be as over built as an AR free float rail.

That looks fantastic! Can't wait to see it on the rifle to see how it sits but if that mounts to the rifle with no modification required then it looks like just the ticket. Any idea on price? Assume it will be anodized black?
