CZ EVO S1 Scorpion *UPDATE*

too Bad cz doesnt went to make a nr model otherwise i would have been interested in that since i dont have a r-pal and dont want to be limited to range only

Well for you I will I have the APC 9 as B&T will work with us, you may have to order 30 and they will not be cheap. :) Seriously give us time and we will see what we can do for you.

I was ready to place an order with CZ for an 18.6 inch barrel model but their salesmen tells me they are not interested in pursuing this. In all honesty the Scorpion is proving so successful that they (CZ) are struggling to keep up with world wide orders and the few 18.6 inched models we would require would not make it cost effective for CZ to interrupt their production. We would have to look at having an after market barrel made up and fitted, this would not be cheap. I would be interested in hearing from any gunsmith who could offer this service.

So, no NR carbine in the foreseeable future????
:(

EDIT: I just saw your reply to Dad003. I'll hold my horses for now.

Now that I got the NR APC from you, my next thing will be either a NR 9mm or NR 308 black gun. The new semiauto 308s seem like vapourware for now, so wondering what are my options.

Can you make a handgun go from restricted to non restricted?

No.

Can you make a rifle into a handgun and doom it to restricted forever status? Yes.

If selling these without a stock, they are handguns. Much like how they would be considered in the US to avoid the SBR laws down south.

I'm not trying to poke the bear. Simply posing a cautionary set of circumstances that no one wants to see.

Humbly, I would very much suggest that stocks be sold with these and they be registered as commercial versions (of the rifle variety), not handguns.

There are two frt entries. CV and handgun. Hence the worry.

If one wanted to keep it restricted forever it won't matter. You can put a stock on a pistol and nobody cares. But if it were registered as a handgun, adding the 18.5 barrel wouldn't get it into NR status, as once a handgun always one. And all handguns stay restricted.

What a "dogs dinner" yes I agree with you, our intent is to sell them complete with a stock

If you want to keep buying toys you might consider using two rubber rings, they are very effective on goats and lambs, I have some here if you would like. I will get Tyson to do a DIY video tomorrow :)

Thats got to be the best congratulations I have heard yet, I have a well enough paying job not to worry and don't wanna shy off to the competition to buy if I don't need to yet but I do wanna see Tysons DIY video ;-)

Now thay I'm not being ignored anymore

Will this one be the first batch of skorps

I am offended, we never ignore you! Yes should be like this one, the top one but with a folding stock.

The top (shorter) one with a folding stock, I'm definitely in IF it's registered under the 'restricted rifle' FRT. I will not likely ever want to rebarrel it to NR, but having the option would be nice. I wasn't aware of this "once a pistol, always a pistol" thing. I've bought a ton of stuff from Wolverine in the past, and will continue to do so in the future.

Will extra mags be available? Preferably longer 30/5 or thereabouts?

The "other guy" is just virtual store that has no inventory. It only exist in cyber space.

The problem is that virtual stores can hurt an industry, when the new comers are naive and expect instant gratification. We have even had a customer complain to the Better Business bureau before we had a chance to make a reply, this is just a sad state of our times.

Yet that cyber space is putting guns in non-cyber hands. Still a thing to deal with considering this is all about cyber space online sales.

I make no apologies I am a dinosaur of a past age, I give honest advice based on real life experience to customers. They are then free to go and purchase from the cheapest on line store with the fancy web page that they can find to save a buck, that is free enterprise. Then when they have a problem they come back to me to sort it out and sometimes they are surprized when I am a little short with them, I finish up with a reputation of been grouchy! Try and figure that out! :) Boy am I looking forward to retiring, at least my dog understands me.
