Sig Sauer P226 Legion Magazines

I just picked up my Legin and once I got it home realized that it only came with 2 magazines. I called the dealer and they checked their other legions and that's what they all come with for magazines. I read somewhere the other day that this was a mistake on Sig's part and there was somewhere to contact about it if you have one that only came with 2 magazines, but of course I didn't save the page and I can't find it again.

Does anyone have any info on this?

Interesting that MDC was bashing IRG about bringing in Sig's, but my Legion I received from IRG this week came with all 3 mags. So I am a happy camper!!!!
 
Contact MDC re this. They are aware and Sig claims they all leave the factory with 3 mags. Problem may be with one of the distributors(not MDC) but it will be rectified once they are made aware of your situation. This is not the first time this has come up with quite a few frustrated buyers.

So someone along the way is snagging mags as a profit while keeping the price the same?

Excellent.

They should be found and exposed at the least and fraud charges would probably be more appropriate.

If I bought one of these pistols I would be very upset that the dealer/supplier waited for me to contact them. It would indicate culpability to me.

They are away and have done nothing to rectify this proactively?
 
I just registered it with MDC today for the soft case and coin. I'll contact them and see what they have to say about the missing magazine.

You're not alone- there are a bunch of people who only got 2 mags. I don't even know how 3 mags would fit the case.

That's exactly the post I was reading. Thanks a lot. I'll call the dealer back again and try to get them to look into it. They have sold quite a few legions and if they all only had 2 magazines there's quite a few people missing part of what they paid for.
 
Bought mine from firearms outlet and got 3 mags. 2 in the case and 1 in the firearm. Also registered with MDC to get case/coin. No idea if or when that will come.

My gun also came with 2 magazines. I contacted FOC and they gave me an extra magazine. Stand up guys. I got my case and coin a couple of weeks ago. The case is nothing to write home about. Over hyped and very cheap.
 
So I just called the dealer and the guy that does the ordering and deals with the suppliers is away till after next week. But I did find out that they ordered the legions from Big Rock Sports. I guess I'll have to wait a bit to try to get it resolved.
 
I was in contact with someone at MDC and was told that where I purchased mine gets their sig's from Big Rock Sports. Apparently what has been happening is Big Rock is bringing the legion's in with 3 of the dangerous high capacity mags. They are swapping them out for 2 safe 10 rounders.

I was told to go back through my dealer and have them get in touch with Big Rock about my third magazine. Apparently what Big Rock is doing is against their contract and they are required to provide the third magazine as the package is supposed to be sold.
 
So, I don't have a legion, just a 10 year old 226r. However, I'm not happy about how we are being treated.

The P226 Legion's that we distribute are listed to be sold with three 10 round magazines. If you did not receive three 10 round magazines with your Sig purchase, I would suggest contacting the retailer you purchased it from. You can also try contacting the warranty depot for Sig in Canada, their information is below.

That's good to know that that is their stance on it. I will be getting in touch with my retailer again later this week once I get back home to try and get this resolved.
 
Mine only came with 2 mags as well. ... but I found they were crap anyways, had to very forcibly load them into gun with 10 rds so I was just loading 9. so I got rid of them and bought 5 of the 10/15 mecgar ones.
 
I stopped in at my local retailer the other day and they emailed Big Rock about the magazines right away. Now to wait and see what response they get.

Crap magazines or not, after dishing out that kind of $$ I want to be sure I get everything that is supposed to come with it. The two that did come with it seem to run flawlessly with 10 rounds in them to me.
