FightLite MXR Carbine

I'd buy one with the mag well for Sig 226 or M&P mags. (I know, I'm the only one on the planet that doesn't own a Glock)

A preview of the new MXR from FightLite industries, I understand she is in the final stages of development and should be available late summer. We are hoping to get samples as quickly as possible so we can submit to the RCMP SFSS for classification. She is a high quality pistol caliber carbine. The special feature is that the mag well can be adapted to use a selection of different pistol magazines. FightLite would be pleased to develop a 18.6 inch barrel model for Canada so she would be non restricted. I am advised the target retail price will be $700 USD, it remains to be seen if this will be obtainable.[/QUOTE]

Was poking around the FlightLite website. For some reason. the MXR isn't on there. But i did notice the MCR-036, semi-auto belt-fed AR upper. Any chance of this coming our way?

This, Do not want a short handguard with a 18.6 as it looks awful and provides less handling.

This. But I'm more interested to know if it accepts aftermarket forends, such as AR compatible furniture, then if it comes with a longer OEM handguard to accommodate a particular barrel length, such as 18.6".

I want one for M&P and CZ mags (hopefully CZ75 compatable). You're not the only one, I know we're outnumbered but hold in there.

7.62x25 would be high on my "have to buy right now list",threaded barrel and a non goofy looking NR barrel/handguard is a must.either that or it needs to be compatible with available AR hand guards

Looks great as is. I'll go with restricted short bbl. Shouldn't take the lab more than 5 years or so to study this. Maybe they would rush it though so they could mangle regs so all pistol mags get cut to 5 rounds.
