It did surprisingly good, especially after changing the choke to modified. One problem I did have, which I never thought of was the sights. Being used to bead and tritium sites shooting clay, I put buis' on and found it a difficult transition. Just wondering if that there are any companies out there that sell a picatinny based tritium/bead sight? It's a very comfortable shotgun for clays so I'm wondering if this is an option. Thanks

I went through the same thing. I ended up with a vortex venom. It sits nice and low. Much better than the factory or any flip up back up sights.

You could probably find something similar for cheaper but not sure how it would take the kick of a 12 guage.

Ok, thanks I'll look into that. I'm more or less looking for something that probably doesn't exist. Essentially a simple sight like you'd find on say a pistol or factory irons on a rifle except picatinny based. Going to be tough to find, may have to make them myself.

There is this thing called See All Sight and they have a rail version. It is actually an optic sight that works like a red dot idea (but still an iron sight actually). But do your research to see if it is the right thing for you first.

Thank you, that looks quite interesting actually. What I do like about it, just from the pic is how low it is, which is what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the information I'm am looking at buying this style of shotgun to do skeet shooting just to change it up from my basic semi
Looks like I'm going to be buying one just need to find the right price on one.

For skeet you would be better with no sight at all. Not kidding and not slamming the other systems as they have their applications. For clays if you're looking at sights then you aren't giving yourself the best chance of breaking birds. Instead look at the bird with both eyes open and don't look at the sights/bead.

Unless you are hunting a 25 on the skeet field just shoot what you want. Some people get their nose out of joint when someone shoots skeet with a tactical style shotgun. I say fill yer boots and have fun!
I first started shooting skeet with a camo 870 and was shooting 23's with it.
