Holster for Shadow 2

What are the options? I'm sure there is a thread on this already, but didn't find it..

More interested in a "practical" holster if one exists. I know the S2 is a IPSC designed gun so maybe not?

I'm in the same boat with choosing a holster for my 2. I like the CR Speed and Ghost One for the speed of draw, but like the DAA Pro II and Blade-tech for retention if it were used in multi or 3gun matches.

Same, and would recommend the PDR Pro II.
Had the CR Speed, didn't like it one bit.

I just started using ghost the one holster. It can be set to high retention of that's what you want, just has a little lever to lock it

Would not recommend a Ghost The One for the Shadow 2. Myself and 2 shooting buddies have that holster from when we had the old Shadow. Due to the difference in the trigger guards of the guns the holster does not fit the 2. I had to put double sided tape and plastic in mine to keep the gun from rocking. If you want simple get the Blade Tech. If you want a race holster get the DAA Race Master or Alpha-X

The way you word the original post I'm taking Practical to be Level 2? If so the Safariland 578 GLS Pro Fit Holster might be the one you are after.

it will fit, may not retain it ideally but will certainly serve the purpose at a match if you need to go to your backup gun.

The difference is minimal, I was just pointing out that it won't be perfect but 98% of the population if you gave them that combo would assume that holster was for that gun.

I have a Solely Canadian holster for my Shadow 2. Well built and I expect to get many years out of it.
