What striker fired guns look good for 2017?

Why not a hammer fired polymer like the cz p09. Can run it double/single in IPSC then cocked/locked in 3 gun and have the single action trigger tuned lighter.

Why don't you just hire someone that can shoot for you, that way you don't have to go to the gym, no more practicing and dry firing, also, think of the money you will save not having to buy ammo! You might also be able to become that B shooter that you always dreamed of.

These are coming this later summer. Not Striker fired, (DA/SA) but light and on the IPSC production list and should be able to accommodate the Xtreme parts group.

Paper B shooter..... I'm dreaming of becoming a paper B shooter. All classifiers all the time

Speaking of not shooting though, when are you planning your return?

Interesting option.... Until late last year I was shooting a stock 3 for everything.... Liked it except for the weight

There is such a thing as Standard Division. Most of the the X-Fives are welcome in that.

Stryk B (similar to the Hudson H9)

Supposed to release south of the border soon. Not sure when/if it'll get here.

Stryk A looks better... Its full size but not expected until 2018

A buddy is going to let me shoot his strike one soon.... Lots of good reviews on the speed version of this gun

Let me know what you think once you shoot it.

From what I've read, the Stryk A/b have a few improvements including a better trigger.

Hey Onagoth,

Just sent you a pm to your earlier enquiry and reading this thread now. As mentioned in my pm reason I stopped using my PPQ M2 5" in IPSC is after fair amount of usage the trigger pull weight dropped from about 5.5lbs to just under 5lbs. When I discovered it i reluctantly switched back to my Shadow for IPSC matches. Both are outstanding guns but I was really starting to dig my PPQ 5" as my potential go to gun for all my various practical action shooting disciplines.

Nowadays I run the Shadow 2 in IPSC...and love it for IPSC!! And my PPQ 5"with the Dawson fibre optic front has become my go to 3 Gun and likely CQB Gun if find the time to get into CQB next summer.

Bottom line is I had the same thoughts you did. Find one good gun to fit all my needs. Would have worked too if the trigger pull on my Ppq hadn't dipped below 5 lbs:(

Curious to hear from other PPQ M2 5" and especially PPQ Match owners who have tested their trigger pull weights. What is your trigger pull weight after a year or so decent usage? Am I just a one off case or have others had the same experience?

Worse case Onagoth, you might just have to 'settle' for 2 guns for your different practical action shooting needs:) Which is not a bad problem to have :)

PS. Of the polymer striker fire guns I tried, the PPQ M2 and Match had by far the best trigger and reset and for me grip ergonomics ...once I added the extra length to the grip with the +2 base pads to accommodate my big mitts.
