We are in the process of listing the Knobloch Accessories just send as a message if you are looking for something that's not listed yet. We have them in stock!

I'm curious how the k5 shooting glasses would be covered by insurance? They are not prescription glasses.

Hi ROMEO1, good question!

The insurance will pay for glasses frames cost. As far as they are concerned they are just glasses frames. If you choose not to put prescription lenses in there it is not necessarily a condition. For example when you buy regular prescription glasses, you choose frames, then lenses then coating, etc.
In this case you are just getting the frames.
Of course every insurance agency is different, but we had lots customers claim them via their health plans. Usually around $100-200 every 2 years.

Looking into this right now!

We also carry filter lenses and clips formal our Knobloch Shooting glasses. If you can't find them in our store please contact us and we will be able to help you out.

Now is good time to get new shooting glasses, since most health plans reset beginning of the year.

Most companies provide a biannual amount $250-$300 for prescription glasses if you choose to use that amount for a specialty sport item they don't much care as long as it's prescription

Can you put percription lenses in these? Whats the warrenty on these things?

Yes you can put prescription lenses inside. That is actually on the primary functions, so that you can have your corrective lenses in the position that corresponds to your shooting discipline.
Depending where you live we can recommend some Optical shots that we know did work for shooters before.
Warranty is one year. I just replaced screws in someone's glasses that are about 15 years old, so these things will last unless you abuse them.
