Greetings CGN,
WRAS will be holding our second Precision Rifle match at the Edson Fish and Game range on July 8. We will have about 6 courses of fire with a round count of around 50-60. Distances will range from 100 to 1000 meters, with most targets within 600 meters.
As always the match will be rain or shine. Be prepared for the weather by having appropriate attire for all 4 seasons in Alberta ( because you can get them all in one day!) Bring enough food and water for the day, there is nowhere to get supplies close to the range. Camping will be available at the range. Some of us will be out at the range Friday night. Fires may be prohibited depending on restrictions placed on open fires from Alberta Sustainable resources. Alternatively, Fickle Lake Camp ground is about 20 minutes from the range.
To sign up for the match please send an email to wrassignup@gmail.com, please give name and WRAS member # if you are a member. Match fees are $50, plus a $10 WRAS membership fee if you are not already a member. There will be 40 spots open for this match. The Range Brief will be at 9:15 AM and first shots going down range for 10:00 .
