The accuracy is Hirten' me!
I read the threads, some good, some not so flattering about 7.62 NATO Hirtenberger. I bought some thinking I was getting an OK deal on quality.
Maybe my experience isn't typical, but here goes. 200 metres in a Ruger American, 2.5 to 3 MOA all over the clock in very light winds. I am always alternating between four or five different brands at a time including Federal, one European other than Hirtenberger, and all the usual suspects among Eastern sources. All between 146 and 180 grains. All, except Hirtenberger, reliably deliver 1.0 at 200 metres.
I'm not saying good, bad, or indifferent yet, but gosh I hope the results improve, the closer I get to the bottom of the carton.
