Spotting Scope Advice

I have actually personally used it, was it as good as my Kowa? Not quite, but at a third of the price, it gives up very little. Add to that Chargerguy takes Type A to an exponential level. That scope is as new.

So I went with the Pentax PF-80 with the 20-60x eye piece. Very impressed with it so far. Gonna be good at the range, and maybe some bird watching.

I just started looking at spotting scopes. $1300(with eye piece) is outta my price range for the limited use it will get.

Any recommendations in the $700-800 range for range shooting 200-300 yards?
Maybe the Pentax PF-65?
