Very nice targets Tom E Gun. I too have an MPR, it shoots almost as well as my Anschutz 2007. I bet you are now thinking of an Anschutz.

Tom E showed me up with his impressive shooting today with the MPR. I couldn't shoot worth a darn today. His next go around will be with the 1813 supermatch. He was kind enough to part with a box of Lapua X act for me to try in the 1813.The MPR is a great shooter.
My luck today was trying to group Tom E Gun,s 308 with a 3-12 sightron. 2 shots the scope goes blurry as something came loose inside his scope. That was my day!

Probably a 1913 action in a U7 stock. I'm a lefty and prefer an ambi set up.

I had a good day at the range today. savagecanuck was kind enough to lend me his Anschutz MPR to try a few 1/2" Challenge groups. I shot about 8 targets (5x, 5 round groups each). When I got home I measure the best 3 targets and found that they all met the challenge. Using Lapua Centre-X I had 2 successful targets (avg group sizes: 0.388" and 0.372). Using Lapua X-Act the average was 0.262".

Here is the official info for the Challenge:

Rifle: Anschutz MPR
Scope: Vortex 6-24x
Rest: Gun club bench and Caldwell Rock Jr with Protektor bags
Ammo: Lapua X-Act
Groups: 0.319", 0.252", 0.331", 0.252", 0.152" (average: 0.262")
