If the rumor mill is correct tomorrow or Saturday we should know everything there is to know. Anyone else curious as to what will be revealed?

Of course. 17 Gen 5 will be bought, and if I like it better Gen 4 will be sold. As I have done with all previous generations. And everytime, the new Gen stayed which tells me this time won't be any different. Well maybe I'll go MOS this time, who knows... My eyes aren't what they use to be.

If the Gen 5s come with the ambi thumb safety, it might be helpful stopping me from riding the slide release.
But if I have to pay $1400 for that little luxury, I'll just cut off my thumb. Bwahahaha!

Seriously, I have had no issues with my Gen2 and 3s. There isn't anything significant enough on a Gen5M to make me want one...esp at that price point.

Externally I'm all...

Internally...

Is that the rumoured MSRP? That's almost double what Gen 4's are going for now, lol.

You ride the slide release on a G17? That's interesting. Hopefully you don't decide you want a Sig P226 one day, or you'll be in trouble - it's way worse!

I don't think there's going to be enough usable change from the Gen 4 to make me want to upgrade. I'm also a big fan of finger grooves....

The so-called gen 5. Don't worry I like Glocks, but I'm no fan boy. I don't regularly drink the koolade.

I'm also not a fan boy there was a rumour that this passed weekend was going to be the Gen 5's debut. Instead we got a Gen 4 with awkward looking front serrations.

This must be the submission to the modular competition that lost to the Sig P320. And I spent a lot less on it. You'll have to live with the Glock, though, cause the P320 is going to be impossible to get once Sig gets the production ramped up for the US Army. Congrats to the Sig M17 the first sidearm since the Berretta contract in 1985.
