I'm curious who else would be interested in one of these? I've owned most types of 452/453/455 made in the past, but there has never been a true stainless (the Style was the closest, but nickel plated not SS).

Any dealers out there have a rough ETA? I'd pre-order one of these without hesitation. I'm hoping there's enough interest to get some of these flowing into Canada!

Show the sponsors that they should bring these in by the truckload!

There not even out in the US, I'd think they'd tackle that market first before us. I talked to Diane and one of the guys at P and D and they never heard anything about them.
I'd check with Phophet River as Clay seems to have a good handle on newer and rarer items. I would guess next spring might see the od one here, I'd buy one as I really like my 452 Style.

I forgot all about this thread. Yes, they are out! This was mine shortly after getting it from PR. FINALLY a stainless CZ rimfire!

I'd go for a stainless with nice wood. Fire suit on.

No flame suit needed as far as I'm concerned. I had my 452 Style (nickel) in a wood stock and loved how it looked, the synthetic stock just makes the 455 a little more suitable for inclement conditions.

The stainless 455 is a great looking rifle. I am very tempted!!!
How is the stock? Is it the same (or not) as the one that comes with the 455 Synthetic plus nicer sprayed on finish?
Thanks

I got a 17HMR fro Prophet River , USA model really like the black stock has great grip to it, Also purchased a .22LR from another dealer ( Its from CZ Europe ) has a green fleck in the stock and although its looks ok I find it doesn't feel as good as the USA version..... maybe it's just me.
It's strange how they didn't do the bolts in stainless...
Very nice finish overall IMHO

North60 seems to think there is a difference in feel between the black (.17) and the green fleck (.22) stocks, which is interesting. According to CZ, they all use the same "soft-touch" stock finish.

Cheaper just to treat the bolt and handle with an with Arcor finish for bad weather using existing parts, I'd imagine. While it's not a "cheap" gun, it's by no means a high end one that can include all sorts of custom touches, either.

I think it's probably just me as I think the green fleck shows the texture more than the all black ( OCD )
I might put one in a Boyd's stock and switch out the synthetic to the one I prefer :)
