It's getting closer to the start of deer season Jun 1 and I bin looking at sum nice looking buck just Velvet covered dubs yet but you don't eat the antlers
Any ways wondering how meny going fore a early deer hunt this year on Haida Gwaii
 
Man, I'd love to go but just a bit to busy at work right now....when does the crab stomping start on the north beach?

Crabing on the beach is a summer thing but the Razor clams are good now and sockeye start running next month in the Yakoon
Life is good on Haida Gwaii Haahaa
Bear trip then salmon hopfully then early deer fore me befor I get Busy up in Alberta with work

Hawk-I we should plan out the late goat season a bit better this year get the tent set up and fire wood cut and split before the snow flys and you get Busy with work

May 26 is the dead line
I put in for goat up in the far northern BC a long with caribou and moose in Spatsizi I never hunting or fished in that Area so good reason to put name in for the draw

forget all that pack up a rifle and camping gear just bite the bullet you can always leave you truck in PR and walk on the ferry thay have a gun locker

Just looked it up, roughly a 15 hr drive to PR for me! It's on the list for sure though. I'll try getting my friend in on it to split costs as well.

It's a long drive but worth the trip, why sit in the city dreaming when you can hunt the beaches summer the crabs are in the shallow and dip netted crabs shoot sum deer salmon in the rivers
 
This is a bucket list item for me. I would love to take my son for his first big deer hunt to Haida Gwaii add in some river salmon action and crabbing.

Best plase for a kid to learn and not just hunting but harvesting of all kinds
You and your kid would never forget a summer trip to Haida gwaii
 
My reservation on the ferry is booked going home on the Thursday ferry
Give me time to visit my house and work on the Rokons
Love Haida Gwaii but there is no work for me now that the commercial fishing is so screwed up so spend more time in Alberta then at home
