I need your opinion, i buy a used XCR gen 2 on the EE and the gun need the upper cerakote , do you think that the new noveske bazooka green will look nice? full gun! all the accessories black! my second choice is battle worn but i think i get tired of it after a while !

My first xcr was od green and it was okay for me, my recent ones are all black. The colour options at the time, added a lot of additional cost for cosmetics. I think that colour would turn out good if you're looking to cerakote.
 
I like them in black (my old L-micro, gone to a new home, and my M-micro)






But my more recent one is an OD green keymod, with a few other colors added. Bought it this way intending to refinish it back to OD, but the fugly camo has grown on me!




With regard to the 'competition' model with the longer rail - a buddy had one, and while it didn't seem any heavier than mine, he sold it as he couldn't swap most other barrels onto it - the gas blocks were too high on the conversion kits. Also, the gas was harder to adjust under the rail. Personally I prefer the shorter rail.
 
Is the xcr for sale at all in the USA? I was looking for fun yesterday and I can't find any for sale, all the search leads to wolverine and cabelas canada. Odly enough there isn't any at cabela usa lol. So is this gun basically granted existence by the fact that ar15 are restricted in Canada? Also for the first time I am actually interested in getting tge newer one in 7.62x39 lw od, I might just have to sell a cz 858.
 
I'm not sure if this would be a good or bad thing. Not to preach or stand on a soap box for either side of the argument. I would like to hook my thumb over the knob / handle in a magwell grip, but this currently isn't safe to do, because of the forward assist.

Wow, is this a new cerakote color? It makes me regret going Patriot Brown on my XCR-M
 
Ok my xcr l was sold thought I would jump on the tavor band wagon, almost immediate regret.
Should have went to a xcr l keymodded with light profile barrel. The reason it was sold was the front end was brutishly heavy. Had a gen 2 the key modded light profile barrel came out a year later.
Yes I know do more push ups......
But we will keep an eye out for a good deal on a gen 3 by this summer. Hopefully I will be back into an xcr by then.....
Lesson learned grass is not always greener on other side of fence.

Are you referring to the Fast 2 and Fast 3 stocked models by chance?
