His platform is about less government -- not promoting quebec over other provinces. Libertarian is not that different than the Reform party from 20 years ago. Reform swept the western provinces back then and Maxime has a good chance to get similar support in this run.
JT is sending too much Canadian money to charities overseas, broke his promise to help Veterans, and the Canadian dollar has not been weaker since 1996. Legalizing weed won't make up for the mess he is creating.

The NFA has been controversial in the media but I like them and value their opinion because they actually get stuff done and don't collaborate with sitting governments on bad legislation containing more gun control just so they can keep their 'seat at the table'.

This is the kind of defeatist and submissive attitude that doesn't encourage change to happen. If you want something to happen or to change, you must believe in it. Maxime Bernier winning is not an unreasonable scenario at all.

Canadians want somebody articulate, dynamic and fresh with new ideas who projects leadership qualities and has a demonstrated track record in matters relating to finance and the economy.
Somebody that inspires confidence like mulroney did and like o'leary did.
If the cpc doesn't offer them somebody like that in 2019 glamour boy will be getting another term in office.

I find it weird that so many people with 0 trader ratings have so much to say that is anti CPC in one form or another. Very subliminal.. Reminds me of a hypnotist repeating you are getting sleepy, you will never win......Also, I would imagine O'Leary would be happy to get elected as a MP this time around and become finance minister. Then he can judge his chances of leading the CPC in the next election. He's not that old.

Mulroney was without a doubt as crooked as a dogs hind leg but that does not detract from the fact that he presented extremely well in both official languages.
Today minus the political and legal baggage and 25 years younger mulroney would wipe the floor with young trudeau in the 2019 election.
