As a right handed person, I began my shooting "career" shooting pistols right handed. Last year however, I found that I did much better shooting left handed, as I was left eye dominant. I've since swapped to shooting lefty, and it's made a dramatic difference in my shooting.
Because of that, I ended up selling my P226 and P229 to experiment with more lefty friendly guns like the P320. I also found the glock surprisingly easy to use left handed, as an extended slide lever allows for easy locking back of the slide simply by pushing the trigger finger up.
I've all but given up on P226's because the slide is just too hard to lock back with my trigger finger, but I really do miss them. I was just curious what everyone's lefty technique was for locking the slide to the rear with the slide lever when they're shooting left handed with a P226?
