Disconnector for CZ Shadow that reduces pre-travel...

I had a good chat with a gentleman at Cajun Gun Works and told him what I'd done to my CZ Shadow, and he said the only thing you're missing is our disconnector.
He mentioned it cuts down a lot of the trigger's pre-travel, thereby improving the feel. Does anyone know if someone carries it in Canada or would be able to order it?
 
That pre-travel is used by the gun's double action stroke. I would want to learn more about this special disconnector before I'd use it. But then I use my CZ's in competitions that require a DA first pull. Still, be sure of what you're getting and what it'll do.
 
Just order a disco from Robin Sebo, they are factory discos and available in a number of different pretravel settings
 
The disco reduced SA reset, gun will still be a DA/SA. A few competitive shooters have them installed. Nick is closest to you and can do the work.
 
the reduced discos will give you a short reset and less pretravel if you take your finger off the trigger.

I haven't installed one but have a couple of buddies that have them in their Shadows and the reset and take up in SA was significantly reduced, it has no bearing on the DA. I was about to order one to set up my Shadow when my Shadow 2 arrived so never got around to it.
 
I have a shadow and shadow 2 so I have a good idea of what the difference is. The pre b is still the best option to stay production legal?

I just bought the Shadow 2...in the Shadow 1 I bought the 13 pound mainspring and reduced power firing pin spring from Dlask Arms and installed them, along with 13 pound recoil spring and SS guide rod and comp hammer. The Shadow 2 has the lighter mainspring and recoil spring already out of the box, does it also have a reduced power firing pin spring standard, or is that something you could install? It sounds like a polishing of the moving parts is the only thing that most folks agree on for the Shadow 2...excellent right out of the box.

Yes, on the other thread I found that out...as I explained I was only able to handle the fellow's new Shadow 2 briefly at the range, and the slide and trigger felt light, similar to my modified Shadow 1. That made me think CZ had already done those mods to the Shadow 2...because there's no way the Shadow 2's slide and trigger felt as heavy/stiff as my Shadow 1 before I modified it! I don't know how CZ got the Shadow 2 so nice without changing the springs, but after I've put in the lighter springs on the new gun it should be incredible! :-D
