Anschutz 64 "Tactical Trainer" chamber vs. high velocity ammo

I don't have a scope in mind for the Tactical Trainer...a rifle I don't have the $ to buy now anyway. :p However, I have a scope on my rarely used 17M2 that might get the nod to start with~a Weaver V-16, target dot reticle. Pretty sure the 17M2 won't mind...even though I'm on the constant hunt for fairly-priced M2 ammo.

Yah, im torn on what to put on top of it. I know I should get a nice optic but its tempting to slam a Bushnell Elite 4500 Rifle Scope, 4-16x 40mm on it.

Congrats! Look forward to the range report! Do me a solid~run some fast stuff through it and report back on the accuracy. Better yet...where in Ontario are you...maybe I'll help! :) :) :)
 
Southern, weekday mornings you will catch me at the 200 at crumlin shooting rim fire.

If you ever see me, say high and ask to take a couple! I have no issues with people shooting my guns!

I still need to get rings and decide what optic to put on it.
