Picked up a new toy yesterday, can't wait to get it out. My first striker type pistol.. haven't even fired one before. It's a shame I won't be able to pass true judgment on the new trigger. I was going to get the original M&P, never even knew that there was a "version 2.0" out, lol. The sales guy and the wife talked me into it.

The team is growing!

The trigger is nicer than the first gen, I just checked one out. Crisper and a more audible reset, more aggressive grip texture. I liked it I won't lie, made me want to buy one to keep my gen1 company lol.

I was playing with one of these at Wholesale Sports yesterday, Really liked it, and they had it on for $599. I figure thats a pretty good deal for the 2.0 I may go back and buy one!

love mine. changed the sights to Warren Sevigny and installed an ApexTactical plunger and spring i had laying around. its an awesome pistol!

Makes me sad that th first thing people mention about the 2.0 is the grip texture, the original one was good enough. How many people with velvety smooth hands complained that they had to change it to almost sandpaper feel.

also whats the ported dust cover, why is the steel chasis exposed other than create a tacticool effect. No reasons.

But it's not sandpaper feel. Have you actually held one?

if im not mistaken on the one side the cut outs expose the serial number and QR code on the gun, the other side im assuming they did the same cut outs to match it up or for weight.

as for the more aggressive grip im trying to remember the last time i was at the range or a 3 gun and heard someone say "you know what this pistol needs while im sweating and getting dirty.... it needs to be smoother!"

just saying.
no hate, all love, big hugs!

you can kinda see the numbers on this pic
