I would't like to change my Colt Defense LE 6920 M4A1 Socom trigger to play in shooting sports.

Which Geissele kit is the best ? Small or large pin ? 1 or 2 stage ?

Thanks

I have the combat SD trigger on my range toy and the 3 gun SD trigger on my Competition Noveske and a Triggertech Flat Trigger on another range Noveske between the three the Triggertech have a better break feel than any of the Giesselle however teh 3gun SD trigger is one of if not the smoothest trigger I ever used.

Your rifle is probably a small pin if it's a newer production colt rifle but there's no way for me to know.

As for which trigger, that depends on what you want out of it. I personally use the super Tricon and super dynamic combat triggers in my run n gun rigs, and a super dynamic enhanced in my precision gun.

What's your preference? Light trigger pull? Crisper break? I'd spend some time on geisseles website and YouTube channel and see what they have to say individually about each triggers benefits, and not just our own personal preferences.

^^ This. I run a Geissele SSAE on my competition gun but am planning an upgrade to a TriggerTech. If you want an absence of take up and a crisp, short reset the one-piece trigger packs are the only way to go.

I believe Colt stopped making large pin receivers after 1991. Your LE6920 should be standard size pins.

TriggerTech are awsome triggers for the money with a nice crisp break, short reset and with very little travel and adjustable trigger weight so you can shoot precision one day and crank it up for 3Gun etc later. If I had to do it over again, I would definitely buy another TT trigger.

That said, I have Geissele SSA and SSA-E on a couple of my ARs. The SSA-E is nicer. I've never tried the more pricier Geissele 3Gun etc triggers to comment but I've never read anything bad about 'em.

Since you have a Le6921, I will say Geissele SSA ( or the lower cost version 2-stage) is the way to go if you want to spend money.

They are not adjustable, but they will pass drop test without discharging. Hence they are ( the full auto version) purchased by cops and military.

I run both version as a precision trigger or a general trigger, and I am not sure it is any more meaningful to get a split time lower 0.12 for a general rifle, unless you are looking for a dedicated comp gun and need a straight trigger bow.

If you're shooting 3 Gun, IPSC rifle or CQB highly recommend the Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun trigger. Have one on my DD and it is superb! Single stage, No take up, light clean crisp break, very little follow threw and short reset for rapid follow up shots.

Considering picking up another one for my FN15 tactical carbine. Either that or an adjustable Triggertech.

Are the Trigger Techs really that good? Maybe I'll have to look into one of those.

Anyone here do serious shooting with the trigger techs?
I've heard more than once, professional shooters who shoot high round counts have had issues with the sealed trigger packs failing to reset.
Pretty much the one reason I've always avoided them.

Hell YES! Sold my Giessle after a side by side comparison. Nothing wrong with Giessle, but they have to work with different pin tolerances on guns, so they are not as precise as making a box to fit those tolerances and stuffing trigger parts in it like the Triggertech does.

Since I have installed 3 Trigger Tech triggers, I have 3 more on order to replace triggers in my shooting buddies' Service Rifles.

And that really says something.

Brayden from Trigger Tech, Phil O'Dell and Tony (TandT arms) have been instrumental in providing this product to our market. Truly a drop in, plug and play awesome product.

Well guys...

Took you advice and went Trigger Tech. I hope I will like the flat blade.

Thanks to all.
